Intakes of Universities in USA

  • USA generally has two intakes i.e. September and January, with few Universities offering multiple intakes in May. It is suggested that you should start making applications ideally 9-12 months prior to the intake.

Admission process

The admission process for USA university education starts from course selection and ends at visa approval. We have explained the entire process below.

​1. Course Selection:

  • Choosing the right course is a crucial moment for the aspiring students. There are thousands of educational courses to study and deciding which course to opt for can be a daunting task. Please contact the Career Counselor for better understanding of course selection and its scope.

2.Selection of right universities:

  • After selecting the course you wish to study, search for universities that offer your selected programme. The university should be selected on the basis of various factors such as resources, facilities, accommodation, fee structure and the employment prospects offered by them. For unbiased information and shortlisting, US universities contact us.

3. Get in touch with Universities Admissions Department:

  • Contact US universities for more information about their teaching methods, internships, accommodation, fee structure, admission information for international students, etc. You can contact them through mail and phone.

4. Check Admission Criteria:

  • Check out the eligibility criteria and list of documents required for university admission. The eligibility criteria differ from university to university.

5. Take the Entrance Test:

  • Book an appointment for your tests like IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, GRE, GMAT, SAT, OET, etc. 6 months before the test date.

6. Prepare your SOP'S and LOR's:

  • You will need to submit an SOP (Statement of Purpose) and 1-3 LORs (Letters of Recommendation) to the universities while submitting your application form.

  • "The SOP is an essay stating your purpose for studying abroad, your goals and aspirations, and how you want to contribute to the university and community."

  • "An LOR is a letter written by an employer or professor stating the applicant's personal personality and professional performance."

7. Fill up Application Form:

  • After collecting all the required documents, SOP and LOR now you can fill the application form of all selected universities. Visit the official websites and pay the application fee online. Additional forms may have to be filled in case of scholarship applications.

8. Wait for the acceptance letter:

  • The status of your application, whether you are accepted or rejected, will be intimated to you on your registered email address.

9. Fee Payment:

  • Once you have been selected by a university, submit the admission fee

10. Apply for US Study Visa:

Apply for an F or M visa and Form I-20.
